INTRODUCTION & HISTORY

Centerburg Youth Shooting Sports is a community-based organization that has always strived to teach youth how to properly handle and use Shotguns and Pistols safely to enjoy the shooting sports. Along with passing its values on to the next generation of youth shooters.

Since its creation in 2000, CYSS has introduced more than 1,000 youth to the shooting sports. Many of the young shooters compete in both state and national competitions, bringing recognition to the Centerburg community. Since its creation several youth shooters, who started out in CYSS, have gone on to earn positions on Junior Olympic teams and have competed in international competitions for USA Shooting in Germany, Cypress and Slovenia.
